AMAKA NSOFORFounder
Amaka is a Principal Industry Specialist, Debt Capital Markets at International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group).
She is a leading debt capital markets professional with global experience spanning Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and Middle East having worked in several international investment banks,
including Standard Bank, Barclays and Standard Chartered.
Just prior to joining IFC, she was an Executive Director, Debt Capital Markets Africa at Standard Chartered.
Over the course of her career, she has originated and executed several bond transactions across diverse industries and sectors.
She has also worked with the Central Bank and Stock Exchange of several emerging market economies, particulalry in Africa to develop their domestic bond market and facilitate their debut access to the international bond market.
She is recognized as an industry leader and was featured as top woman in business by the Business Day magazine in 2021, listed as 50 most inspiring Nigerian women in 2022 and featured as top 10 most successful black businesswomen making a difference by CIO views international magazine. Amaka is a Nigerian Citizen.

Obi IgweMember, Board of Trustees
Obi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, a Masters in Finance from Imperial College London, and a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria.
He is passionate about mentorship and people development and was awarded the Bain Africa Developer Award in 2019, for his outstanding contributions in this area. In his spare time, he mentors young founders, writes, and is a keen student of pre-colonial Nigerian history.
Adanna AmadiMember, Board of Trustees
Adanna holds a B.Sc. from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
She also recently completed her MBA from Imperial College Business School London. Adanna is passionate about impacting youth (particularly women) and providing growth opportunities, which will in turn bring growth to their immediate families, and the communities at large.
She recently received recognition as part of the team which completed an oversubscribed voluntary blood donation drive providing blood for the Lagos State Blood Bank.
Alex OgedengbeMember, Board of Trustees
A Barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with immeasurable wealth of experience both in public and corporate law.
As evidence of his versatility, he also bagged Bachelor degrees in Physics from the University of Ilorin. Barrister Alex is an administrator per excellence and a leader who has Impacted and continues to impact lives positively in the academic sector of Nigeria’s economy for over 30 years teaching in various schools.
He founded Arctic Circle Conference Limited a foremost educational consultant outfit that counsel and train yearly an average of 1000 post-secondary students to gain admission into Universities both in Nigeria and abroad.
He also established Universal White Hall College, and White Hall Junior school. The two institutions are renowned secondary and primary schools in Lagos state and have made tremendous impact in the educational space in the country.
He is the chairman of Computer Based Test Proprietor Association of Nigeria (Lagos chapter), He is a seasoned Business Manager and CEO who has successfully guided employees and executive officers in order to facilitate businesses, while also aligning the company with the strategic vision, both internally and externally. A true motivator for others. He creates a corporate culture for several organizations.
Chinyere NsoforMember, Board of Trustees
Mrs. Nsofor journey in education began after she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a University of Port Harcourt.
Throughout her two decades as a teacher, Mrs Nsofor held positions in various educational institutions across public high schools in Anambra and Delta State and she retired as vice principal academics.
Her passion for education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment have earned her widespread respect among students, colleagues, and parents alike. She brings to the board a strong wealth of experience working with secondary schools in developing areas.
